These routines can often consist of something behavioural. For example, deep breathing, stretching, dynamic warm-up, hand-eye drills, etc. Additionally, they might include something cognitive such as meditation, positive self-talk, imagery, identifying goals, etc.<\/p>\n
Visualize, or imagine, specific difficult moments that may arise during competition. Prime your nervous system by mentally rehearsing specific scenes. This will help you feel more ready to deal with them should they arise.<\/p>\n
